Fall 2023 Athletic Wellness Fair, Chestnut Hill, MA
On Thursday September 14th, Boston College hosted their Fall Athletic Wellness Fair. NDUR was honored to be included. Athletes had the opportunity to get familiar with all the services and organizations on campus that are dedicated to their health and wellness.
NDUR is excited to work with professionals like Kenny Francis, Assistant Athletics Director, Student Athlete Formation & Success. Kenny is helping to support BC Student Athletes and provide the latest tools for peer-to-peer support. As Kenny stated to NDUR, "this is a great opportunity for student athlete leaders who may not be struggling to help other students athletes that are. We want to engage the SAAC organization to move this forward and build a great community."
NDUR visited Boston College recently to participate in the Wellness Fair for Student Athletes. A fantastic event and opportunity to speak with student athletes first-hand about the day-to-day challenges they face and how they can benefit from interacting with their peers in a safe community and support one another. In addition, the NDUR team spoke with various representatives from campus organizations all focused on the same mission of student health & wellness. The potential to partner and work collaboratively across campus with various organizations is encouraging.
